Hello,
We have a request to copy only few projects from Production instance to our Sandbox instance of Jira Cloud.
Based on what I found is to "Copy production data" -> this doesn't suit here as it copies everything from prod to sandbox and there is no way to limit it somehow.
Is there a way to copy only specific projects not the entire production data? Thank you.
Unfortunately, one can only backup all of the site at the moment. Same goes with restoring, one can only restore the whole site, not individual projects.
My workaround is to do a a full Sandbox refresh, then go and delete the unwanted projects. Can be a bit of elbow grease but such is life, I guess...
HTH,
KGM

Hi @Elif Alverson @Kristján Geir Mathiesen
I don't have a solution for you today to move things between sites, but we are building a solution for that and would love your input if you are open to talking to us.
With the Revyz Backup & Restore app, you can restore back data in a granular manner from a given backup snapshot to the site from which you backed-up data.
We are in the process of building the functionality to move specific data from the back up to an alternate site such as your sandbox.
Our primary focus is granular restore of data - step 1 is restore back to original site from where the data came from, step 2 is to move it to an alternate site.
Thank you
Vish
