Hi,
I'm using Jira Software (on Cloud) and have searched & read many articles, but can't work out (as a Jira Admin) how to set other users view of issues default to List view.
I'm aware my users could press 't' but you know users!
Also, I very specifically don't want them to see the detail view and ideally would like that view disabled so they can't go rummaging around in the system. The vast majority (30 out of 33) of these users will only be viewing a set of customised release notes.
Is there any setting/config in Jira system adminstration that I could use for these users?
Would appreciate any guidance.
Many Thanks
Hi Derrick,
I am pretty sure that you cannot do this by selecting a default setting. It's really just going to take education, even those some users are a little slow on the uptake. ;-)
Can we please add this feature sometime?
Our project has thousands of lines, the current default board view does not really useful.
Also, I initiated another question on how to set a default list category view to all team members? How to set a default list category view to all tea... (atlassian.com)
If you could give me some help would be really appreciated.

Hi @Derrick_Robinson!
Please check our app - https://cutt.ly/2zwTxCZ
It allows you to view your project issues as inline editable list and make updates in them without opening each issue one by one.
Thanks.
Sincerely, Vadim [Stiltsoft]
