I'm having an issue where I want to see completed tasks in the active sprint board, but I do not want to see all of the completed tasks in the backlog.
Seeing all of the completed tasks in the backlog just fills the backlog view, so I definitely don't want that. But I still want to see the granular progress on the current sprint including completed tasks.
Is there a way to filter one but not the other?
This is the default behaviour of a board. The backlog will show you all the tasks queued up for future sprints (completed items will not be shown, they're done). The board shows you the issues in the current sprint, including the done ones in the last column.
If you're seeing something different, then it suggests your board might not be set up correctly.
Is it possible to show the completed tickets in the active sprint in the backlog view? Some people are confused as to why some tickets are not showing in the Sprint Section in the Bakclog View.

The definition of a backlog is "a list of stuff that needs doing". If an issue is complete, it does not need doing, so it will not appear in the backlog.
