Good morning!
I hope everyone is doing well in our new normal!
Problem:
In my Scrum board, you can drag and drop to transition an issue or use the status dropdown. When a user uses the drag and drop feature, the IssueKey text is not displaying in struck out format. What am I missing?
I compared my project to another existing and can't see what the configuration difference may be.
Thoughts?
Thank you!
Misty
Hi Misty,
An upfront note first - the issue key is struck out when the Resolution field gets populated.
So, there might be a few things going on. If it is a Next-gen project, the Done status must be in the last column. The built in process for Next-gen will then populate the Resolution field.
If the project is a Classic Software project, you will need to add a Post Function to the Transition to Done in the workflow. The post function needs to set the value of the Resolution field.
I hope that helps!

Hi @Misty Meyers ,
Is the field "resolution" filled in by the transition to the DONE status?

Hi!
Thank you for your response.
We're not using the simplified WF. That isn't something I believe I can set?
I had a custom scheme on there where I could set that. However, setting that didn't seem to resolve the problem.

If it's not a simplified WF, a Jira Administrator would have to make the change to the workflow.

Thank you John.
Your earlier response pointed me to my gap!
Have a great day!
