Epic issues did not link to Initiative issue

Marziah Zarazilla October 19, 2021

Hi, I have followed to a T the steps needed to link epic issues to Initiative issue so as to have a holistic view Initiative -> Epic -> Story - Sub-task in Advanced Roadmap but it is not working.  Did I missed a step?

What I can see is just Initiatives as a stand alone and there is   Epic -> Story - Sub-task  which  works fine.

Thank you Rolf.

Initiative is added to the Filter and Project.

I believe I did link the relationship between the Epic and Initiative Maybe I did it wrong.

Just in case I did it wrong , can you show me a print screen or any resource on how to do it?

Same problem as https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Adding-a-Parent-Link-to-an-EPIC-issue/qaq-p/1466608

This is an Epic, the parent is an initiative

Select the folder links

  1. Check: The relation between Initiative and Epic is a Parent link. Is the link set?
  2. Check the Filter, Project or Board which fill the plan. The initiative you will display are included?
