Hi,
I am previewing the Excel like editor for JIRA and it seems that I cannot edit some fields. Specifically the 2 that I am interested in mostly are Story Points and Original Estimate. I have checked the documentation for the addon here and according to this info a) original estimate should be editable and b) story points are not on the list (which means this field is not supported I guess).
So, 2 questions...
- am I doing something wrong with the addon? (meaning - why can't I edit original estimate)
- is there any other alternative to streamline editing multiple issues with different values (no, bulk edit is not the answer :))? I have seen this addon as well - Excel connector - but unfortunately it does not support Office 365 Excel, which is a showstopper for us.
Hi! The fields you want to edit should be on the edit screen so the add-on lets you edit that field, I made a quick test and it does allow to modify story points, probably it's just mmissing from the edit screen, and that's why you can't edit it, as for another add-on I'm really not sure, but Excel like editor for JIRA it's actually pretty good as far as I know
Thanks a lot, Andrea!
I have added both story points and time tracking to the issue screen and I can indeed edit them now.

I didn't find any edit screen in my Excel like editor for JIRA story points are still not editable, and bulk change is also not useful for different story points in several stories.
Please help

Hi Pooja,
“Edit screen” is not in Excel like editor for Jira, but in Jira.
Please navigate to “Issues” > “Screens”, or select “Screens” from your Project setting, and select relevant edit issue screen to add “story points” field.
