So I have taken over a JIRA board and a team member told me that she's getting a monthly triggered automation report but she doesn't need it any longer.
When I went into the automations that have been created, there isn't an automation set up to trigger the report she keeps getting.
Is there a way that someone could've created an automation and hid it? I'm completely mystified as to why it wouldn't be listed in the automations listing, but still be triggered to run.
Anyone else ever experience this?
Hi Jeremy - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Are you sure it is Automation that is sending it and not a Subscription to a filter? Who is the sender of the email?
John,
Yes, pretty positive that it's an automation. I don't want to mislead you. I probably used the wrong terminology when I said report. It creates a JIRA. And the reporter is "Automation Lite for Cloud JIRA".
So that's why I'm obviously thinking it's an automation. However, I can't seem to find the automation that matches the information in the ticket she sent me.
Is it possible to see deleted automations somewhere? I'm wondering if it was deleted accidentally between the time it was last run and now when I'm searching for it.
Thoughts?

I don't think you can see deleted rules - but Atlassian support would have to say for sure. So if you can't find it, do you think it is solved? Just over come by events?

I didn't see anywhere that a deleted automation rule could be retrieved either. At this point, the last time it was run was before I started with the company/team. So I'm thinking someone altered the rule or deleted it some point after it last ran.
So when we went looking for it, it obviously isn't there. We are going to wait and see if it generates again. If so,we definitely have a mystery on our hands. If not, then I'll know something was altered/deleted and I'll have to simply create a new rule if it's still needed.
