How can I create a weekly view in my product discovery timeline?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to show all items in the timeline in weekly based view. However I can only see there is a monthly based view in this part of the dashboard.

Can you help me in this topic?

Hi @Arda Arslan and welcome to the Community!

I am not sure what you mean by "the dashboard" but I assume you are referring to the timeline view as described here, in Jira Product Discovery documentation.

If so, then yes: this view is limited to a monthly or quarterly view and setting it to weekly is (currently) not an option:

The tool is still in beta and can/will be expanded in areas where there's room for needed improvement most likely. So don't hesitate to share your feedback with the team using the in product feedback option (in the left bottom corner of your screen):

Be aware that the focus of Product Discovery is to manage you product ideas and bigger goals. For the actual delivery, it is recommended to rather use Jira Software to plan and track the detailed work items and link those to your Product Discovery ideas. In Jira Software, you can zoom in more closely on the delivery timelines of your work using the various roadmaps that are available there.

I was curious about this too. And just wanted to post my feedback.

I just had a colleague express interest in using JPD and wants to be able to create a variety of different Timeline Views for their product roadmaps (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc). So I can see that having ability to have a weekly view in a Timeline would be helpful for some of our teams going forward.
