How to I modify an existing workflow

Hi,

I am trying to modify an existing workflow in an active project to align with the Kanban board. When I try to rename or remove a flow, I get the following message:

You can only remove statuses from inactive workflows. To start with this workflow and remove statuses, make a copy of it which will be inactive. You can assign it to the project when you're happy with it.

I am unsure how I create a new workflow/ copy and use it to replace the existing workflow.

Go to Admin -> Issues -> workflows, and find your workflow on the list.  There's a "copy" button next to it.

Hey @lindsay.makin

A simple solution is to copy your workflow. Modify the copy as you wish and then swap the two in the workflow scheme.

Please let me know if this suits you, and if not, please give me more details.

Regards,

JM

Hi JM,

I have done this and for the most part, it is now working fine but I cannot pull anything into the 'in progress' column on the Kanban board. All the other columns work ok

Thanks,

Lindsay
