Hi,
Currently the ways I have tried:
1. Use the "invite" button on the instance's user management where you have to manually spell out all the email addresses without any confirmation, that this is one of a managed users. Spelling errors could be costly.
2. Navigating to a Jira group that grants access and try to add managed users there, but it only searches for users, that already have access to the instance in some form, but will not search through all managed users (claimed via domain).
3. Even going to the managed users list and clicking on the user in the list is not an option, as it displays all product access, but doesn't let you add any products to the user. This would not work as a bulk solution anyway.
Hi @Joerg
I haven't yet needed to take action on members in bulk, but I'd look at APIs. One possible solution to address that, for example, could be through the APIs. You can add a user to a group "in bulk" using the API, which grants access to your product.
Cheers,
IL.
Hey.
API would have been my last resort, but I feel like this is just something that should be doable via UI.
Currently adding multiple managed users to an instance that you manage is definitely not easy via UI, and I think it should be easy.

Hey @Joerg, I hear you. I looked around and found some references that touch on this, and you can also find several other related suggestions linked to these.
There is also an excellent article where you can get more insights into the topic.
I've seen situations, especially migrations, where Atlassian helps bulk update/create the users. There is always an option to use marketplace apps as well. To your point, yes, it would definitely be much easier to have a native way to bulk manage users.
