Hi,
I like to create automation that does the following:
Every time a test is linked to a Story (Is Tested by), the Test will be automatically linked to the Epic of the story also (with the same link type).
Is this possible (without scriptrunner)?
if yes, please help how to do it.
Thanks,
Ori
Hi @Ori Cohen -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
How are your tests implemented? If they are issues (like Story, Task, Bug, etc.) you probably can do this with an automation rule.
To get you started on creating your rule, please review this documentation and examples:
Kind regards,
Bill
Thanks Bill. I'll explore the links you send.
The Tests are issues that linked to Zephyr application that we use to manage the tests.
I'm familiar with the Automation in Jira but I couldn't find a way to create the rule I need:
I think I'm missing something and will appreciate any help in defining this rule.
Thanks all :)

Thanks for that information, and first thing: I am not using Zephyr, so I recommend looking at the vendor's documentation and references to use with Automation for Jira.
If this addon is using the built-in linking, I expect this will still be possible with a rule's issue linked trigger: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-automation-triggers/#Issue-linked You can test that by just creating a test rule like:
If instead the addon uses another mechanism, I would ping their support team for ideas.
