How to multiply 3 custom fields?

Vitor Seabra July 5, 2023

Hi community!

I'm trying to multiply these 3 field values:

  • Impact: customfield_10083
  • Confidence: customfield_10087
  • Ease: customfield_10088

The rule is triggered when the field Ease is filled up. All of them are numeric fields.

This is the current formula that I'm using but it is not working:

{{#=}}{{issue.customfield_10083}} * {{issue.customfield_10087}} * {{issue.customfield_10088}}{{/}}

Below you can see how I'm trying to set this up:

Does anybody have a clue?

Thanks in advance,

Vitor

Hello @Vitor Seabra

What is your evidence that it is not working?

What does the Audit Log show for the execution of the rule? Is the rule being triggered? Is there an error message? Are you seeing no update to the field, or is it updated with the wrong number?

Can you add Log action step(s) to print the value of each custom field to the Audit Log to confirm you have referenced the correct custom fields?
