An ongoing issue has inadvertently been deleted from Jira.
The issue was originally raised in SalesForce and carried over into Jira.
Is there a way we can recover the deleted issue from SaleForce and in-reinstall in Jira?
Unfortunately once you delete a Jira ticket it is gone, unless you have taken a backup of the data.
The options at hand are:
1. Take a backup of your entire Jira site every 48 hrs (that is the minimum) time you have to wait to take a complete backup using the mechanisms that Atlassian provides
When you do restore back there is a potential to loose data
2. Export CSV - you won't get attachments etc.. as part of the exports
