Hello Everyone.
In Jira there is a Team field, like this:
How can I reference this in a Jira automation to be set based on an action?
E.g. if fielda = L2 set TEAM to 'App Support L2
I can't seem to find the Team field to be checked against.
Thanks so much!
Hello @Ian Walker
You have to used Advanced JSON Editing to edit the Team field.
This post shows an example.

No, it is not currently possible to mention an AR Team in comments.
I think it will be after the unification of AR Teams and People Teams is completed.

Were you not able to edit the Team field in your Automation Rule? That was the question you were asking in your post.

@Trudy Claspill That is correct. It cannot be modified via automation as it is not a custom field.
That's what I gathered.
Thanks anyway for replying, much appreciated!

The Answer on the post link I provided iny first response seemed to indicate it was possible? Did you follow those instructions? What was the result? Can you show us the rule you actually tried?
I'm fairly confident I've seen multiple posts where people indicated the were successful in editing the Team field. I won't be able to try it myself until tomorrow (US time).

@Trudy Claspill The article you provided says rollout is currently paused.
Don't worry, I'll wait until it gets rolled out and tried again.
Thanks again for your help.

Indeed, the previous suggestions to find it's customfield ID don't seem to work anymore - as it's not a custom field:
