How to see time logged by status?

While there are reports that show time duration in a given status, we have a need to compare the time/labor logged within that status.  For example: For an Issue that has been in "In Progress" for 4 weeks (or whatever time): how do we show the time logged while in that status?  It could be interesting for management to see if a person(s) assigned only logged 4 hours during a 4 week duration.

There is an add-on by OBSS called Time in Status that may be of assistance and you can create reports based on issue creation date. In addition you may also want to try the Jira Suite Utilities in conjunction with the Average Time in Status gadget. 

In addition there is another communities post that provides some hints other users have found when using the Average Time in Status gadget.

This is a very helpful suggestion; however, we are looking for a cloud solution that not only shows "Duration" in Status but also shows "Effort" (or Hours logged) in the Status.  I may be missing something as I'm only seeing the ability to chart Time (Duration) in Status.

To the list of apps listed above, you can try Time in Status for Jira Cloud by SaaSJet. It is different from the others in that time in status data can be represented as charts and as issue list. There is the available gadget for Jira Dashboard.
