Dear Community,
I have a problem with the subtasks issue type, I made a diferent workflow as the rest of the parent issue types, but in some cases their have the same status. In my board I can only see the parent Issue types, even if i back to the original workflow for both.
But if the subtasks and the parent issue types share some of the status, their should appear in the column board that has those status?
How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Ana F.
Hello @Ana Figuera does your Kanban board filter exclude subtasks? I am also assuming that you have subtasks included in the issue type scheme associated with your project?
Hi Samuel,
I have different filters including "Without Subtasks" but when I don´t have any filter apply the subtasks are lost, it´s only visible inside each parent issue.
About your other question, Yes, I include in the subtasks as part of my issue type scheme

Can you send me a screenshot of your board's "General" settings?

Of course.
I also create a different board with just subtasks filter, but that one are empty

Hmmm we'll figure this out. Can you post a screenshot of the workflow scheme on your project? Also, if you do an "Advanced Issue Search" using one of the filters above, does the filter appear?
Can you also include the workflow that Sub-tasks are using, and include a picture of your board column configuration?
Thanks!

Dear Samuel,
Checking the steps that you mention I can't see any issue related, The Sub-task's workflow share some of the status of the original workflow, even in the configuration board the columns are counting it.
It´s possible that some checkmark are related with this?
I Ask you this because even if I just use one workflow (that is not what I want) the Sub-Task still doesn't show in any of the boards.
here are the Screenshots:
Please let me know if you have any news.

Hmmm no solution yet, but looking at your most recent screenshots it looks like your Sub-Tareas board recognizes that there are 5 issues (subtasks) in the backlog, 6 in the Desarrollo status, and 1 in the Pasaje Prod status. I know you provided a screenshot of your regular board, but is your Sub-Tareas board (that you just created) not showing those issue counts in those columns?
Thanks for your patience

Samule,
As you said in my SubTask Board count the amount of the Sub-tasks on each column, but just count it, when I want to see it as part of the board or backlog I can't.
Even If I share you the General board column configuration the amount of issues increase, let me show you:
The first two screenshots are from the main board
The rest are for the Sub-Tareas Board
It shows for example, 6 issues in Desarrollo, but I can't see it in the column
Thank you for the extra support

Samuel I got a resolution.
The main problem was on Configuration field Screen
I don't know how or why I just replace it for a new one base on the default form In now the cards appears in the board.
Thanks a lot for all your support
I hope this could help others.

Hello @Ana Figuera , I am not sure I'm understanding - which configuration field screen did you have to replace and what does it look like now?
Thanks!
Sam

Hi Samuel,
I show some screenshots of the configuration, in the default field configuration, we have some fields that are Required, so to make more easier the load data I try to make those field optional, in that process I have to create a new field configuration, and a combination of two diferent field configuration also, (1: for general issue types 2: other for Sub-tasks only). Two contean the two field configurations I made a Field Configuration Schemes and then the problem started so I decide to go back that changes, at least for the default field configuration. Now it's working as I spected at the first time
