Is it possible to clone an issue from one project to another with all the original content?

I am looking to use Jira Automation to clone an issue from my Security project to my Operations project and keep all the data that was originally in the Security project into the Operations project. Right now when the issue is cloned, Jira is clearing out all the fields, and the issue is not truly cloned and transitioned.

Sounds odd. Are both projects configured the same way? Is every field available in the edit screen of you target workflow? Try to figure that out. Then everything should work as expected.
