×Hi,
I'm working on migration from Monday.com to Jira Cloud, I want to migrate every single information, and I just want to know if it's possible to do that with the existing automations on Monday, to have the same ones on Jira Cloud.
Hi and good day!
It seems it's not possible at the moment. JCMA (the Jira migration tool) doesn't support the Jira automation rules migration.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-325
This must be done manually. https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/import-and-export-jira-automation-rules/
Mind you that some automation rules might not work in Cloud if you use plugins that don't have a Cloud counterpart.
Hope this works.
Have a great day!
Hi Aaron, good day!
Thank you so much for sharing this information, I will take a look on the links you sent and if there's anything else I want to know I'll come back with the question.
Thanks and have a wonderful day! :)

Hello I hope this find you well.
I have not see any tool that does an automation integration or will migrate automation data.
Somethings I have seen be able to be migrated are issues. There many sync tools like Unito, Excelate, and IPASS that can do this.
I know from the Jira side you can export an automation in JSON format to import on another Jira site or even from project to project via global automation.
I am not sure if Monday.com has this ability but it might be worth a shot to look into. I know that would be automation by automation. They are two different software built very different so I am not sure its possible.
I look forward to being wrong and hope you are able to migrate your data.
I would check the JSON idea and if not see if there is an API path.
Respectfully,
Aaron

Hi Aaron,
Thank you so much for your answer, I have been looking for ways to do this automation migration but it looks like it's not even possible yet. Anyway, thank you so much for the guidance and for sharing your knowledge, I appreciate it :)
