We tried JSM for one of our clients but it did not give them enough control over all their tasks. As a result, we invited them to our Jira site and adjusted permissions so they could only see their Boards and not our other client boards.
We're now looking for a way to ensure that if any of our team create a new project and forget to mark it as private, we know about it. Options that would work are;
- Removing the option to create restricted or open team-managed projects from the outset
- OR creating a filter to show us if there are any restricted or open team-managed projects
- OR email notification when a new project is created, with the project type mentioned
Are any of these options possible, or can anyone suggest a better approach?
Use webhooks, to get the notifications on form of either mail or message you want to get when an event happens. Then you will be immediately notified of the event
Other option is to restrict the option to create shared objects permission from global permission and restrict creation of team managed projects
Let me know if this helps
Thanks,
Pramodh
