×Hello Team,
Currently, I am working on the Jira dashboard - Creating a dashboard against the Quality Metrics derived relevant to X-Ray.
Is it possible to customize Gadgets as a user?
Like pretty much any entity in Jira, a dashboard can be edited if you have the required permission.
So, if your dashboard is editable by you, you can edit it, otherwise you can create a copy of that and edit the copy.
Thanks @Aron Gombas _Midori_ - Is it possible for a user to customize the gadgets without admin permission

You can change the gadget settings if you have "edit" permission on the whole dashboard.
And, you can have "edit" permission on a dashboard even if you are not an admin.

Yes, a user can edit the settings for gadgets on a dashboard if they have edit rights for the dashboard. The person who created the dashboard is automatically an editor, but they can edit the dashboard and name other people as editors.

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- - Thanks for the input. As a user I can edit the default gadget available, But my doubt is, is it possible to add new gadget or customise new gadget in relevant to my derived quality metrics.
For Eg: I have a metrics named "Test Case Preparation efficiency" where i have to measure the Total number of test cases prepared and effort spent on the preparation"
My doubt is can i customize the gadgets in relevant to my defined metrics.
