I'm trying to import a number of issues into a Jira Cloud project via a CSV file. I exported that CSV issues file from another Jira Cloud instance.
I can't get the 'Attachments' to come over. On the mapping screen during the import, there is the Attachment field to map, but there's no option in the dropdown. When I attempt to import, none of the Attachments show in in the tickets.
I believe it's necessary to change the Configuration? I'm just looking for a step-by-step process for how to do this. Thanks.
Hi @Foxcliffe Hickory ,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
I hope you have already go through this guide for steps importing csv file in Jira - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/.
If not, could you please go through this once?
There are some documentation on import issues and common csv queries -
Please accept the answer if it solves your query else respond and allow others to share input.
Stay safe and healthy.

Thanks, Paul. But that doesn't help. I've read through all of those document pages and the answer isn't there. I don't know how to change the field configuration to reflect the mapping correctly. It looks fine, I see the Attachments field, but the Attachments don't come over when I do the issues import.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Caryer
you have to modify your export file with notepad to find the image line and add your code + API in the beginning. Of course you have to choose the field in the mapping.
