Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×I have tried drag and drop and selecting top of backlog, bottom of backlog, and move to board. The items will not move. I am not able to move any items out of the backlog. When I move it, it immediately moves back to the backlog or board.
You may not have permission to transition. Can you open an issue into the full issue view and then see if you can transition the status?
I have no rules in place for the project and I am the Administrator.

Can you share a screen shot of your permissions? Primarily the create, browse, etc. example of one of my projects:

Next-gen boards have flat permissions. You are either an Admin or a Member. I am the admin. This fucntionality worked until yesterday and all 3 of my projects are affected.

Hi Elizabeth, we have the same issue. Did you ever find a resolution? I would hate to revert back to classic at this point. Guess contacting support will be next option.

I contacted support, they made no changes, but it self-healed? So, no root cause and I took no steps to correct.

Nice. Now if only my projects will self-heal. Support pointed me to JSWCLOUD-17383 which should account for bug. Hoping they fix it soon.

@Elizabeth Jones, based upon the bug Kurt mentioned I would guess they updated your instance and you are part of the “soaking” that is happening now.
@Kurt Werner, given they are “soaking” the fix it should be soon. I also noted the workaround of toggling the feature off and back on so you might try that if you have not.

@Jack BrickeyGood to hear it is soaking. What feature should I toggle on and off. Being next-gen project the screen shots don't match what you provided. I did try and toggle Sprint on/off, but that did not help.

According to the details provided in the issue you included above you should toggle the Sprint feature.
