Jira Cloud Re-index and upgrade downtime

Hi all,

I know that Jira cloud could re-index and upgrade automatically without manually.

I wonder is there any downtime during re-index and upgrade ?

If so, when will system down to finish re-index and upgrade?

or Jira doing these with zero downtime?

Why do you ask?

The whole point of a service like Atlassian Cloud is that you don't need to worry about things like indexing, backup or upgrade.

But the answer is "there is zero downtime"

Hi @Piper W welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Atlassian performs Jira Cloud re-indexing on its own, normally only when you change fields. This is done without downtime.
