I am using Jira Cloud for Excel and the field and filter settings disappear over time.
This causes me to re-enter the fields and it takes time.
How can I prevent this from happening or automate this?

I am not sure I understand correctly the issue you are reporting. Can you kindly provide more details or, even better, a list of steps I can follow in order to reproduce it locally?

I have an excel workbook that I update on a regular cadence. Every so often I open the workbook and all the settings (what filter to use, and what items to bring in) disappear and I need to reset the data. There are no specific steps except I open the workbook and the settings are gone. It is not clear to me what is different. Do app updates clear the data settings?
