Hi Everyone,
We have Jira Cloud, specifically team-managed project. I was changing the existing workflow many times over the last week. Yesterday, however, after I published my latest changes to the workflow (removed some columns, fixed the workflow and automation rules), Jira responded with: "Workflow updated: It might take a moment for your recent changes to show."
Today, the 2nd day, still the same problem: I cannot edit workflow as it's simply unavailable.
This breaks my team work.
Please recommend what could we do in this situation??
Thank you greatly!
Michael
Welcome to the Community!
The "take a moment" message generally does mean the rather vague English term "a moment" - it should be a few seconds, which could stretch to an hour if you're doing something very English like queuing and you're told "the bus/attendant/doctor will be with you in a moment". In Jira though, it really should be a few minutes at worse, not a day.
I think Atlassian support need to see this one - could you raise it over at https://support.atlassian.com/contact
(Note if you're on a free or $10 licence, it will refer you back here to the community - let us know if that is that is the case, and we can ask Atlassian to take a look here)

Hello @Michael Gordon
Was there a solution for this issue?
We're having the same exact problem since yesterday.
Now there's even a message to invite me to refresh the page...
Thanks in advance for any feedback :)

Hello,
If anyone else comes here for the same issue, here's how I resolved it (thanks to Atlassian support).
The workflow I was working on was not fully saved, it was in some draft state which did not show up explicitely.
So I edited it by moving the position a status in the workflow to allow me to save it again, then after saving it, I could see the project board setting page correctly with the new/updated status (sometimes in new columns as expected), so I could finish to edit the board settings and save it.
There you go :)

Hi Jean-Michel,
Yes, I was helped by the Atlassian support, although it took almost a week for them to identify the problem and resolve it.
