Hi all,
so when i try to search jira for issues using basic search and doesn't give what I need i click on advanced search but I don't switch to JQL I still prefer the normal text but I noticed that there are default criteria to choose from and there are hidden criteria that can be added to the search which is fine but there is one criteria that show up by default even though I didn't add it, it can be removed obviously by clicking the x or clicking on more and deselecting it but I was wondering if there is something in Jira settings where I can choose which criteria that shows up by default or remove existing criteria from the advanced search function.
Thank you
Hi Ammar,
No, you can't remove the default data that shows when you click to Switch to JQL.
Hi John,
I don't switch to JQL, and the data is not the issue but the criteria, please see attached picture. the date created criteria is what I want to remove.

Have you tried to use the "x" next to the "Created date..."?

Thank you for your answer, I was asking how to not let it show up by default. I can clearly see the x.

Sorry, I misunderstood you referring only to last comment "the date created criteria is what I want to remove.", sorry once again ;-)

no worriers, it is a bit confusing since it is not a clear issue or something that people would ask about
