In the workflow below, I want to make worklog entry mandatory before the Code Review status and before the Done status. For this, I added a rule from the validators field by clicking on transition. (Field Required Validator). However, this rule is broken after the first worklog entry and the obligation is removed in the second one. For example, I entered the worklog while going to the "Code Review" stage, and it did not necessarily show me the worklog when I went to the "Done" stage.
In Progress --> Code Review --> Test --> Done
How can I make this mandatory for both transitions?
(This did not solve my problem either: Field has been modified Validator)
Hi @Adem Kaya
We have the same use case achieved by 'Field has been modified Validator'
Can you explain why it didnt work for you?
It is the same as the screen you shared. But when I log in, the warning continues "please log work". How many validators did you add and are they all added as modifields? Can you give some details?
My flow is as follows:
Validator 1 for "Code Review" :Field Required Validator ( Σ Time Spent)
If a value for field Σ Time Spent is not provided during the transition, show the following error: Please Work Log !
Validator 2 for "Done": Field has been modified Validator (Σ Time Spent)
Field Σ Time Spent should be modified during the transition.
Error message: Please Work Log!
I tried many combinations but it doesn't work. (Time spent, Log Work ...)

Hi @Adem Kaya
It works in multiple transitions in the workflow for me.
The "Log work" is the field to focus. Can you show the screen and point at which field you enter value during transition?

I'm testing it on a simple project so that my main project is not affected. I implemented the following flows in the same way. During the backlog phase, I entered a 1h worklog. Afterwards, I entered the 1h worklog in the In progress phase, but it gave a warning and it did not progress. It did not reach Done status.

Hi @Adem Kaya
1. Instead of sum of time spent, use 'Log work' field in the validation. Refer to my screenshot in the initial part of the answer.
2. Can you show the screenshot of the transition screen with the fields to log work?

1 - There is no "Log Work" option in "Field Required Validator". There are time spent options.
But there is a "Log Work" option in "Field Has Been Modified Validator". But I cannot use this instead of the first validator, it gives a warning even if there is log data.
Do you only use "Field Has Been Modified Validator" in your transitions?
2- I did not add additional screens for transitions. I just need to ensure that it does not allow permission if there is no log work data when switching to another status. Are you obliged to add a separate screen?

Well yes, how my implementation works is that , during the transition the 'Validator' configuration in my screenshot + a transition screen with log work, will not let the user transition the issue with out entering the data to the field in the transition screen.

Hi @Adem Kaya could you please share why it didn't work so that we can help you find a solution. I'm doing this effectively using the validator the same as @Fazila Ashraf
