Mass update the Zephyr test cases from ZQL

Vamshi Korde January 31, 2020 edited

I usually go to cycle summary and then clone the folder and test cycle and I don't see an option to bulk update the test cases to change the fix version.

It would great to have the ability to bulk update the results shown from ZQL

@Vamshi Korde  You can navigate to search test > run jql query

Eg: project="project 1" AND issue type = "test"

> Select the testcases>  click on bulk update > edit issues > update fix version

  • To bulk update execution results > navigate to search test execution > provide the zql > select and bulk update status

This doesn't help me because I use ZQL to filter test cases by cycle name and folder name and then I need to bulk update the fixversion to the results.

I was following the discussion on this thread and couldn't figure out the workaround they suggested.
