Next-gen jira roadmap subtask

I would like to see the subtasks in Jira next-gen roadmap but I can't find a way to do it.

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

The Roadmap was previously just to show Epics and now we have the ability to expand this Epics to see tasks, bugs, and other issue types, but currently, sub-tasks are not included.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

• Option to Drill Down to Sub-Task in Next-Gen Roadmap

Hi there - do you have to configure something special to see tasks and bugs?  We still only see Epics and Stories.

If the issue types were added to the project and linked to an Epic, it will also show on the roadmap.

For an issue to be shown on the roadmap, they need to be linked to an Epic.

Thanks Angelica!  Do you know if you can make it so that the Tasks and Bugs are under the Story and the Story is under the Epic to create a hierarchy in the Roadmap?  Or do all Issue types have to stay under the same level under an Epic?

It's possible to change the order of the tickets under an Epic. For that, please click on an Epic, and on the right side, you will see the ticket and you can drag and drop the tickets to change its order.

Thanks Angela!   Can you make it so that they appear heirachial under the Epic or do they all have to be a the same level?

Currently, that's the only view available for the roadmap. 

There are some features suggesting improvements for that, but not specifically for hierarchy:

• Ability to Rank Children issues in Roadmap view
• Date range for child issues on roadmap
• Option to Drill Down to Sub-Task in Next-Gen Roadmap
