Not receiving email notifications anymore although enabled

We are not receiving any more email notifications from Jira since this week Tuesday/Wednesday although they are turned on in the personal settings. We are working with them and would need them to be turned back on. Can someone please help with this? Thank you!

Hi Katja,

I would open a support ticket with Atlassian to see if the email address has been blacklisted for some reason.

I would need more information to understand,

  • Does this happen only to a project?
  • Are the users receiving any email from other projects?
  • The users do not receive any email notification what so ever?
  • Do other users receive notifications for the actions these specific users fail to receive?

please find my answers below:

  • Does this happen only to a project? - No, it is happening to several projects in our organization, e.g. Fibre Development, Fibre Shop Merchandise, etc.
  • Are the users receiving any email from other projects? - I'm unable to check with everyone in the organization whether they are receiving notifications from other projects.
  • The users do not receive any email notification what so ever? - Correct, no more notifications for whatsoever.
  • Do other users receive notifications for the actions these specific users fail to receive? - As far as I could check, no one is receiving notifications for these actions anymore.

@Katja Kanngiesser  can you please check with your Jira Administrator their might be a case outgoing notification is disabled by mistakenly.
