I have found that the functionality to permanently delete a project (that is currently in the trash) is slightly buggy. It works sometimes, and on other occasions it doesn't work. I get a message saying the project will be deleted but when checking the folder the project is still present.
Is anybody else experiencing this? Can't wait 60 days for a project to delete.
Hi @Uche
I have not experienced what you have. If you want to get rid a project immediately or at any point of time before 60 days - here is what you can do:
1. Settings -> Projects -> Trash
2. Click on 3 dots (...) as shown in the screenshot below
3. Click on "Delete permanently"
This will make the project be taken out of the system within a minute or so
You want to be careful before you empty or delete things from the Trash, because once you delete things there, you cannot recover that data back unless you have backed-up your site.
I also understand why may want to do that, one of the use cases I have seen is to re use the project name or key.
@Vish Reddy {Revyz} - Thanks for reaching out. I understand how to delete a project; those are the steps I followed. The issue i was having is that after 5-10mins it still did not reflect. But it is sorted now - just seems to be taking forever whenever I try!

No worries, yup I know the feeling - small things sometimes seem to take forever :-(

No - it still takes to long. In my case it´s longer than some 10 minutes. Also others have experienced this behaviour, see here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-80059

Hi LS,
I have not experienced that. Can you share some screen shots/examples?

Think i am just impatient! It has gone now - but with that being said it was an extremely small project so probably expected it to permanently delete straight away. I assume it just takes some time to reflect in the DB; and only at that point it leaves the 'trash' section.
Thanks for reaching out though @John Funk
