Hi,
Atlassian released new update that limits number of single project automations to 1700 per product. But we are using lot of single project automations. Is there an automation addon(preferably non scripting), if there is one ,please suggest me.
Thanks,
Mahanth
Hi @MahanthPrudhvi,
These are my go-to apps when Automation for Jira does not solve the problem.
Power Scripts: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/43318/power-scripts-jira-workflow-automation?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Scriptrunner: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Scriptrunner may require some scripting depending on the use case, but it's also one of the most flexible.
It's worth checking the marketplace as well. They may have some new stuff there.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Melo
HI @Melo
Thanks for the suggestion.
It's been very long since I used JSU & JMWE ,as per my knowledge JSU & JMWE have more advantages with regards to workflow automation and the other needs scripting knowledge.
Anyway this update in the automation policy might affect a lot.
Thanks

Hi @MahanthPrudhvi – Amelie from Appfire here!
You're right; JSU is fully no-code and a great app for basic workflow automation – it has a visual workflow rules builder similar to native Jira automation.
With JMWE, you can build workflow automations, set up based on no-code, and perform event-based and scheduled actions. It does have some low-code scripting functionality, but it's not required to use the app.
Both Power Scripts and Scriptrunner are primarily scripting-based, meaning they have more flexibility to set up more complex automations.

Power scripts and Scriptrunner also have no-code functionality - both can be used to create the same post-fuctions you need without any code.

Thanks for your suggestion @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- @Amelie Winkler _Appfire_
But I am looking for automation actions other than the workflow postfunctions like field updating, schedule based.......

Yes, we understand that. As Melo and Amelie have said, the apps we've all mentioned give you automation actions like post functions, listeners, scheduled jobs, and and and. They are rate limited (there's only so many actions you can take per second), but not volume limited like Automation is now.
