×Hi,
I created a Classic Software Project and a Custom board for it to experiment, and now I want to remove the custom board but I do not see any Delete option in the Board settings menu (attached my view).
Is there any other way of doing it?
Thanks,
Roberto
Hi @Roby
Do the following:
This allows you delete a board. If you will rather delete a project then go to project and delete it.
Cheers.
It seems Jira changed its UI, again hiding the Edit board function elsewhere.

I'm sure this is because I am fairly new to this... How do you delete the board?
I found the board I want to delete with the instructions above.
However, once I see it (like in the screen shot above) I'm unclear as to the next steps to delete it.
If I click on it, it brings me to the board and I don't see where I have the option to delete it.
We are using Jira Software Cloud. I have Org & Site Admin privileges.

Are you using a standard or next-gen project?
Boards for next-gen projects cannot be deleted.

I am using the classic version. The one I want to and cannot delete is a Kanban board.

@Roby I had the exact same question as you. I assume that you have gotten your answer since you posted this.
I just figured it out and wanted to share in the hope this can help others with similar questions.
1) From the project drop down, select the project your board is under.
2) From the Boards drop down, locate and select View All boards (at bottom of that drop down).
3) This brings you to the Boards list page. Locate the 3 dots on the right of the board you want to delete, this should provide you the option of deleting your board.
