Hi,
Are there alternatives to setting the fix-version for a Kanban board view to remove a ticket from the board?
We have issue types that represent work requests that require no code changes and are thus, conceptually, never released, which means no fix version. Currently we assign them a dummy value, however as there is no way to automatically set this (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-27090) it is a very manual and error prone situation that requires bespoke knowledge across the whole team.
Is there any other ways we can mark an issue as done in a way that removes it from a Kanban board?
(p.s. we're not interested in paying for 3rd party plugins to provide such a post-function).
Thanks,
Mitch.
Hi @Mitch Kent,
you can do that by editing the Kanban Sub Filter and add a clause that will remove all issues that are done and not updated for 5 days for example. Then all issues in status Done will disappear after 5 days, if they are not editied any more.
Ah - so this is done by a filter? Brilliant, I never realised- that does make it a simpler exercise. Thanks!
