Hi everyone,
Has anyone managed to bring every Customer (account) from Salesforce into Jira, in any way or as a value into a custom field?
Thanks
Hi @Andrei Bacanu ,
Thanks for asking your question in the community.
This is indeed possible by using an integration solution like Exalate.
It is a completely decentralized bidirectional synchronization solution allowing you to sync any salesforce object to Jira issues including custom fields as well!
The Groovy-based scripting engine provided by Exalate is not only flexible but gives you a lot of customizability options.
Please be known that I am associated with Exalate as a Pre-Sales Engineer.
Thanks, Dhiren
Hi @Andrei Bacanu -
You can easily migrate your Salesforce customer data into Jira with Appfire's Connector for Salesforce and Jira
This helpful app is easy to configure and features:
I'm the Product Marketing Manager for Connector for Salesforce & Jira and would be happy to put you in touch with our Support team to answer any questions you might have or arrange a demo.

Hi @jennifer.dempsey_Appfire we use the connector and I'm wondering if it's possible to set up a connection where we "add" a customer to a Jira issue (assuming this would be a field for "Customer"). Then we also want to have additional fields that pull other various customer account metadata from Salesforce based on the customer selected (ARR, market, etc.).

Hi @Sarah Green
That's a great question! Someone on our support team would be happy to talk to you about kind of connections are possible and walk you through the steps of setting them up. I'd suggest reaching out to our advisor Vlad Puhach. He's awesome and very knowledgeable about the app. You can book a demo with him at your convenience or reach out anytime to Appfire Support.
They'd be happy to help!

@Andrei Bacanu hello. You may check out ZigiOps here at the Atlassian marketplace. It's a fully no-code integration tool. Connects Jira & Salesforce in minutes. You can customize to fit various use case scenarios such as a two-way syncing of salesforce objects to Jira issues (regular + custom fields). Try ZigiOps' trial version to see if the tool matches your expectations.
Regards, Diana (ZigiOps team)
