Scrum board - New sprint 1 for existing board

Hi,

The current Jira board is completing the last sprint. A new sprint 1 to capture the next (production) phase of the project is requested in order to have a clean break between the two efforts. Ideal to start with Sprint 1 continuation on the same board. How to proceed with this requirement.

Hi @Gnanabaskar , you need to go to your Backlog screen and start a new sprint from the Backlog section

Current Sprint number is 8. It is going to complete soon. We need to create a new sprint number 1 on the same existing board. If its possible will it create any problem with the existing open issues in Backlog?

Hello @Gnanabaskar ,

No it will not create the issue. You just need to do the following steps:

Just Create a new sprint than put that Sprint Up and when you will edit that sprit for the timeline you can change the text to Sprint 1.
