Our vendor gives us ticket numbers containing @ symbols (eg. AA12345678@@1). We've created a custom field to hold this ticket number of type 'Text Field (single line)'.
Any time we enter a value into that field, it's auto encoding into a mailto address. Is there a configuration somewhere where I can modify the regex for what constitutes an email address?
I'm experiencing the same issue and it seems to be a bug.
I had started to notice this on our JSM instance. This seems to be a new bug and might be a UI formatting issue. I had multiple fields that capture email address and it was working correctly for over a year.

likewise, we've also recently had this happen to custom fields on our project Kanban. Any text field with @ is being updated with "mailto:" prefix
