Transition fails

Hi,

I use jira automation plugin and from some reason cannot get transition to work. Flow visible in the screen shot below. I would expect that created test issue is moved to IN TESTING status, but it's ending up to BACKLOG (first status).

Hi @Jouni Riimala

Its not working because the created issue is not linked with triggered issue

You can create a 'Branch rule / related issues' for all created issues

Then transition the created issue to 'In Testing' status

Cheers!

Hi,

Thank you from your rapid and correct answer. It works so I'm happy .... ,but :) in my version when I created test issue I also created link to the parent issue and then in my branch section I used linked issues value and then just moved test issue to the correct state.

As I didn't get it working, I'm not correct in my thinking. However my logic still says that i should be correct :)
