Two dimension gadget is not working

Hello, 

I created a dashboard and added two dimension gadget. After setting up field of gadget, I am facing issue with filter (first field of two column). As the filter is created my me, I shared the access with another user but still the user cannot see it. Any idea how todo

Make sure you share the dasboard AND share the underlying filter.

How did you share the filter and dashboard? With a group? With a project role? Are you SURE the user is in that group and/or project role?

Can you share a screenshot of what the user gets?

Hello John,

Yes I shared the dashboard with user (visible to user as well) and i shared filter too (as user received mail for that) but when i logged in as user i can see only dashboard (other 3 gadget have data except this one).

please find the below images. In one image data is visible (mine as admin) and other for not visible (user ).

Okay thanks for sharing that - very helpful!

Then maybe there is something in the filter that the user does not have access to  - like doesn't have Browse Project permissions on the project. If the user just executes the filter in the advanced search function, can he/she see anything?

Thanks is really helped, User didnt have rights for other users that why the filter didnt worked.
