Hi,
Today, I (more or less just by coincidence) found that an unknown user has access to my Jira instance. Since I am the admin of my sites, I am quite surprised how this happened.
The user is visible when managing viewer, it appears when searching for "pro";
However, this user not not visible in user admin in the "Administration" panel. When checking the Jira Apps, I see three plugins that have "Proforma" in name, so they could be connected to this user, but I am unaware why they are available.
Does anyone have an idea what this is? We don´t use "Proforma" and I would be happy to get rid of this (or at least disable it).
Regards,
Harald

Same here. What's this Proforma Migrator?

Hi, you can find info on this user at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/proforma-migrator-system-user-1255455041.html
The proforma-migrator is a system user related to the "atlassian-addons-project-access" and is associated with an update on the Forms add-on and is being rolled out since February 8th, 2023.
Proforma was merged into native Jira functionality in 2022, and its functionality has been added to all Jira projects and automation rules. In order for customers to keep their older configurations during data migration from Jira Server/Data Center to Jira Cloud, Atlassian has rolled out an app to help the migration process for this data, named Proforma Migrator.
This user is added with the role "atlassian-addons-project-access" on all projects.

Same here. Just noticed this. Shows up under users for our Satisfaction Survey as well. Not seeing it under Administration -> Users.
I don't like new admin users being created out of nowhere with no knowledge on how they can be accessed, or worse, exploited.

I believe Atlassian created a "technical" user on those instances where JSM is installed.
