User Picker (multiple users) How does it work?

Hello, 

I'm relatively new to the Jira platform and have a question about the multi-user picker. How exactly does it work? I've created a custom field and added to to the designated issue types but when I go to the drop down menu, it is empty. How do I configure that field so all of my users are shown?

@Nives Kolaric-Penman you need to start typing in that field (at least first 3 letters) to get username suggestions and then you can select from suggestions. This is how user picker list works.
