Hi, We have a number of epics with a number of stories under each of them. Whilst I can see the stories in the Advanced Roadmaps view, another user could not. I know it could be related to permissions (as I have admin rights) however would like to know what specific items I need to check on the user's permissions to enable them to also see the stories for their epics in the Advanced Roadmaps view. Please suggest.
is the user able to see these issues outside of the Advanced Roamaps? First of all I would check permissions for the project, where the stories are located, whether the user has Browse Projects permission. there. Is Issue security configured for this project?
Thank you.
Hi @Hana Kučerová - Thanks for the response. I have checked that the user can access the stories from the Kanban Board view and they also have 'Browse Projects' permission. It's just that on the Advanced Roadmaps view, the user can just see the Epics and not stories. I also checked the filters on the roadmaps view and it is set to 'Epics -> Story' which should be fine. Any other thoughts? I'm not sure if Issue security is configured for this projects.

ok, so if you're quite sure the user can see the stories in Jira project, but not in the roadmap, I believe it needs to be something with the roadmap. Also if the user is able to see the stories, issue security is not the problem.
If the issues are not excluded from the roadmap, only other possibility I can think of is the modification of view. So, maybe you can suggest the user to discard changes in the view, so that he gets back to the original view, where the stories should be visible.

Hi Hana,
What is the impact for the existing issues if we do discard changes?
Thank you

Hi @Golla Sathish , which changes do you want to discard exactly? If you have any problems with your roadmap, I would recommend you to create a new question, this one is quite old.
