Why I need to reload the page when I cancel the status when I cancel the custom field in Jira? I need to reload the page again to fill the status
Hey @Winnie
Good day! Could you please share more context on this issue? Maybe a screen recording of the issue will help us assist you better.
I tested the issue on my environment, cancelling a custom field's update doesn't need a page refresh to have the data updated. But your screen recording will help me understand your issue better.
Thanks

Or is it a normal that select list single choice custom field behave like that because the ability to dynamically add or remove choices in a single choice select list without reloading the page depends on the implementation and configuration of the form or application you are using with Jira. By default, Jira's built-in functionality does not support dynamic modification of select list choices without a page reload.

Thank you @Winnie
I've reviewed the recording that you share and I tested the same on my instance. I can confirm that Jira is behaving as per design.
The "x" is to clear the field, not to undo the last change. There is no way that Jira will update the field with the previous data when you click on "x" and reload the page.
Also, Jira does dynamically update the field value for single choice or text field, page reload is not required.
