automation or script to remove flags from issues

Ilia Mamontov November 24, 2023

Hello community! i just did automation to flag all issues that was added to active sprint (after it was started). So now im looking for way to remove those flags after sprint is closed. By flag i mean customfield_10021, or "Flagged" (Impediment) in automation. Tried by automation also, but seems there no way to do it universally - for all sprints in project.

Hi @Ilia Mamontov

You could try a rule triggered on Sprint Completed, branch to the issues in the sprint, and then edit the issue Flagged field, leaving the value empty.  That will clear it.

If instead you are performing some type of clean-up activity, have you tried searching for the specific issues with JQL and using the bulk-edit to clear the field?

Kind regards,
Bill

Maybe scriptrunner for jira cloud is better option?

i solved it, "then" action should be moved and stick to "for" (under it), error despaired in this way, and everything works! thanks for advice
