Hi,
I'm trying to import issues into a project, and the field "Original Estimate" is not imported.
The point is, I have a column "Original Estimate [s]" in my .csv file (in seconds), and JIRA reads it, but the issue is created without any value in the correspondent field.
Please see the pictures:
1st shows the import setup, the 2nd shows the result.
Thanks in advance,
Tiago
When I tried to replicate this, the pull down for mapping the Original Estimate field shows "Original Estimate (in seconds)". That is the only mapping field option I have for Original Estimate. Do you have more than one option?
Providing a value in seconds (i.e. "3600") in the import file is importing for me and setting the Original Estimates field to "1h".
Are you using Jira's built in time tracking, or a third party app?
If you go to Settings > Issues > Time Tracking, what do you see for the settings? This is what I see.
Hi @Trudy Claspill , thanks for your answer.
The option "Original Estimate (in seconds)" is not available in my settings. The time tracking settings are the same as yours:

Hello @Tiago S_
I think you and I discussed a precursor to this in another post. :)
I found that if I go through the Bulk Import option on the search screen then the mapping shows "Original Estimate". If I go through administrator screens (gear > System> External System Import), then the field shows "Original Estimate (in seconds)".
For me, both methods successfully updated the Original Estimate value when I imported to both Team Managed and Company Managed Software projects.
Are you importing to a Team Managed or Company Managed project? A Software, Business, or Service project?
What is the exact value you have in the CSV file for the Original Estimate value?
Can you show a screen image of one of the imported issues in Jira showing the Original Estimate field?

Hey @Trudy Claspill, sure! I asked a similar question few months ago, and your help was decisive. Thanks again!
About the project, it is a Company-managed Software project. I'm using it to plan and manage personal stuff (not company-related).
I'm trying to import a two-row csv file, as a test. The values are 600 and 2400 seconds.

2) .csv file
3 and 4) Imported issues
