I'm a jira admin and i have the permission to Manage the sprint .
But i'm not able to close the sprint . that option was grayed out .
i checked out permission helper and its said i have that permission .
I looked the filter too , its related to only one project . please help
its not about global permissions also because i'm able to close sprint for other projects.
Check to see if there is a ticket from another project in your sprint. If there is, check your perms in that project.
i checked it . but in filter they used only one project

Hello,
Just a hint: maybe your sprint contains tickets that aren't done. If there is a rule based on ticket status, such a rule may prevent you from closing it.

yes we have some issues which are still in Progress . but usually if you have issues which are not completed , when you click on complete sprint , it will ask you right where you want to move issues either to new sprint or backlog ? here i'm not even able to click that button .
how to check the rule based on status ? in workflow ?

Hi @CHINNAMUTHEVISAI.SATYANARAYANASHARMA ,
Manage sprint permission is depends on the below permission.
Product access,

Hi @CHINNAMUTHEVISAI.SATYANARAYANASHARMA
A board/sprint can be configured with issues from multiple projects. To complete a Sprint in a board, you must have the Schedule Issues and Manage Sprints permissions for all the projects returned in the board filter and in the Sprint, not just the project where the board is allocated.
