Webhook for Github are not working

Our team (Atracs-Online) have been using Jira for a while. In the beginning, webhooks works well. But now it seldom works. I mean if I commit a change to issue AO-1234.

I write the description

AO-1234 Bugfix in method X

This commit should be shown in the issue. But it only happens sometimes.
Are there any logs to find out what is wrong?
Any other hints?

Can you confirm if you are using this Github addon: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219592/github-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview or the older DVCS based connection (deprecated now)?
