Hi I have admin permission granted but I can't delete a task?
Admin rights give you administration rights. Not project rights ( and not "can do everything" which is a terrible terrible permission model)
You will need to use your admin rights to modify the project so that you have the permission to delete issues.
I would caution you against this though - if you delete an issue, it's totally scrubbed. It's gone, you can't report on it or its history, and if you get it wrong and want to restore it, your only way to do that is by restoring backups and even those won't be identical. At the very least, only allow people who understand that delete means delete have the rights to do it. It is far safer to have a "dustbin" project and allow people to move things there, or have "cancelled" type status in your workflows alongside "done" so your numbers still represent what happened.
Yes, deleting is problematic, and...
Instead of adding an additional status, you could add an Abandoned custom field. This allows you to mark any item as abandoned, exclude it from reporting/board filters, and get it back if needed.
Best regards,
Bill
