automatically change status when assigned

Need to automatically change status of an issue when its assigned.

Using cloud server.

Can we use Scriptrunner to do this?

Hi Alex,

You can do it with ScriptRunner with a Script Listener. When the assignee is modified you would use the transition API to perform the transition.

Use the 'Fast-track transition an issue' script listener with Scriptrunner. Pretty easy to set up.
