In the previous version of the Jira software, I was able to star an issue and then see all the starred issues in the list. Now this functionality somehow disappeared and I'm only able to see my starred issues in /jira/your-work -> starred, but I have no clue how to star the issue
where can I find this functionality? is it somehow configurable?
Thank you
Hi @Mystery Elf - like you I've wanted to be able to star an Issue, and then see all my starred Issues in a list.
We created a Jira Cloud app that allows you to add Issues to your own personal favorites list. Favorites are scoped to individual user accounts, so everyone on your team can favorite issues independently:
You can even create multiple personal favorites lists to further categorize Issues that are relevant to you. You can also search for issues that you've assigned to your personal custom favorites lists using JQL.
The app is called Issue Star, and you can find it here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1234079
Try the app out, and let us know what you think. Thanks!
Hello @Mystery Elf ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
In Jira Cloud, since the new navigation, users can only star the following entities:
The starring of issues is no longer supported, but we have the below feature request open in our system to have this functionality re-introduced:
You may want to vote and watch the above feature request so that you will get notified in case of any update. The feature will be addressed according to the Implementation of New Features Policy.
Cheers,
Dario
